Private Events

The Clayworks Team loves providing an inclusive environment for people to embrace their creative sides. One way we encourage artistic flair is through private events. We have hosted a variety of groups ranging from corporate team building to multi-generational family reunions and everything in between.

We can host up to 20 people in our studio, which is reserved for the private group exclusively. Our rates for private events are tiered depending on how many people will be attending:

1-5 guests: $45/person | 6-10 guests: $40/person | 11-15 guests: $35/person | 16+ guests: $30/person

We have several hand-built project options available for these types of events: Mugs, Steins, Planters, Lanterns, House Numbers, and a variety of decorative creatures like Gnomes, Trolls and Monsters if you have a more free-form creative crew. We are open to new ideas and projects if you have a particular project in mind and will gladly work with you to bring your creation to life.

The prices listed above include all space rental, materials, instruction, firings, and glazing of the projects. Your creations will be ready for pickup approximately 4 weeks after the event, depending on the projects required drying time. We ask that groups pick one project for the event so everyone is working together and nobody feels left behind.

You are able and encouraged to bring your own food and beverages for your private event. We can also set up a designated table for food and drinks.

We request at least 2 weeks advance notice to prepare for private events. Once details are confirmed, we require a 50% deposit to lock in your date with the balance due on the day of the event.

Other Events

We are always looking for new and exciting events to offer our community, and strive to have frequent opportunities for those who may not want to get their hands in the mud. We are open to suggestions for new events, and hope to continue offering a wide variety of options for Wheeling artists to enjoy.
